Geensong and the GREEN SOURCE!

Aloha and blessings,

We are contacting you as a member of our community on the Big Island of Hawai'i.  Greensong Hawai'i, a  non-profit 501(c)3 organization based on the Big Island of Hawai'i,  and Sacred Designs are asking for your alliance in the creation of the Green Source Center located in the small village town of Kainaliu.  The Green Source Center is host to the education of environmental responsibility, social justice and community economic development here on the Big Island.  We are building a platform to unite the local communities and further the sustainable economic and infrastructure development locally.  Our immediate areas of focus include island youth education and involvement, permaculture and conscious use of our natural resources, and avenues of distribution for local farmers, crafters and cultural practicioners.  The center is 1,100 square feet, and will host group meetings and classes, information on ecology and global sustainability, healing rooms for massage and bodywork, space for youth activities and outdoor farmers market on Sundays. 

We are in the development stages of this project and anticipate the grand opening to be in June of this year, and farmers markets beginning in May.  It is with honor that we ask you as a fellow community member of the Big Island to offer your support to Hawai'i island sustainability.

There are many ways to contribute to the Green Source Center that are a vital it's function.  Some services/items on the wish list include:

construction materials and paint, brushes etc.
carpenters and laborers
light fixtures and water features
Electrical contractors and journeymen
Bamboo panels, trim, and furniture
plants and soil products
Laptop computers for internet and youth-based learning
wireless service hardware and installation
recycling bins for dispersed collection
sustainable building products
and more.........

In this venture into sustainability we are continually welcoming business alliance as well sponsorships in affiliation with social action, global peace and cultural honor. 

The Green Source Center is centrally located and and serves as a Kona Mauka visitor center, hosting information on local sustainable business, lodging, activities and cultural sites.  It is our goal to work with local business and individuals with consultation to implement sustainable practices to contribute to your offering!

As a contributor to the Green Source Center, you are standing for the community health and wellness of our island as well as our global village. 

We encourage you to explore the simple steps of social responsibility in all aspects of your day to day, standing for humanity to create a peaceful and abundant home for ourselves,  our children, and theirs children to come.
